While it may seem like humidity is the culprit for doors and windows not shutting right, this is usually not the case. Most of the time, doors and windows are not shutting correctly because the floor beneath them is being pushed out of its original position by either a settling foundation or some sort of foundation damage like bowing or leaning walls. Separation of flooring from the wall is also a big sign that there is a problem bigger than humidity on your hands.
Keith’s crew installed nine ECP, Earth Contact Products, 350 Piers on the west and south side of the building. Piers are driven deep into the soil where it is highly compacted and then a bracket is affixed to the foundation. The two are then attached and the weight of the building now rests on the piers. There are a few different types of piers, and what you need will depend on your specific situation. This will be discussed in detail with you during your free estimate.
