This job study focuses on a project in Belton, MO on May 21st, 2018. Keith’s crew arrived at the job site and started work on foundation repair. The windows on the property were not shutting properly, and there was separation from the concrete flooring on the inside of the building too. Usually, this is a sign that the foundation is settling or that there is some sort of foundation damage.

Most of the time, doors and windows are not shutting correctly because the floor beneath them is being pushed out of its original position by either a settling foundation or some sort of foundation damage like bowing or leaning walls. Separation of flooring from the wall is also a big sign that there is a problem bigger than humidity on your hands.
Keith’s crew installed nine ECP, Earth Contact Products, 350 Piers on the west and south side of the building. Piers are driven deep into the soil where it is highly compacted and then a bracket is affixed to the foundation. The two are then attached and the weight of the building now rests on the piers. There are a few different types of piers, and what you need will depend on your specific situation. This will be discussed in detail with you during your free estimate.
