Slab Repair for Ashford Place

with KC Waterproofing and Foundation Repair

Helical Slab Piers are being torqued in the soil 20 ft. deep to load-bearing strata. These will stabilize and lift the sunken slab.

Hallway of the Ashford Place Nursing Home. Blue circles indicate the placement of the Slab Piers to be installed.

Several Slab Piers were placed in each room and hallway to properly support the concrete slab that had sunk.

This is the Folding Slab pier that has been placed under the floor and is ready to lift the slab.

The Slab piers are being multi-lifted to achieve the proper lift.

The void that has occurred from the lifting of the concrete slab is being filled by a flowable fill from Geiger Ready Mix.

These are new construction piers that have been driven to load bearing strata and have had the rebar tied to them for the concrete pour.

All material is delivered to the worksite and all material is powder coated for corrosion protection. All steel is USA made. This is an 8 x 10 Helical Pier.

Ashford Place Nursing Home. The concrete floor had been mudjacked years before because of slab settling, and the floor dropped again. But now they are getting a permanent solution.
