Slab Repair for Ashford Place

• Helical Slab Piers are being torqued in the soil 20 ft. deep to load-bearing strata. These will stabilize and lift the sunken slab.
• Hallway of the Ashford Place Nursing Home. Blue circles indicate the placement of the Slab Piers to be installed.
• Several Slab Piers were placed in each room and hallway to properly support the concrete slab that had sunk.
• This is the Folding Slab pier that has been placed under the floor and is ready to lift the slab.
• The Slab piers are being multi-lifted to achieve the proper lift.
• The void that has occurred from the lifting of the concrete slab is being filled by a flowable fill from Geiger Ready Mix.
• These are new construction piers that have been driven to load bearing strata and have had the rebar tied to them for the concrete pour.
• All material is delivered to the worksite and all material is powder coated for corrosion protection. All steel is USA made. This is an 8 x 10 Helical Pier.
