The piers weren’t making sure the house was lifted and level, and that’s very important to the overall safety and health of your home and to its longevity.
The homeowner had eight piers installed along the North, East, and a section of the South wall of his home. These piers were not adequately supporting the home and needed some help. That’s where KC Waterproofing and Foundation Repair stepped in. Keith’s crew installed six Earth Contact Products (ECP) 350 Piers and two ECP 250 Piers. These piers helped to stabilize and lift the home and make sure that it was level and supported. However, in fact, there was very little lift at all on this home.
The existing retaining wall did need to be taken down to install one of the piers, so KC Waterproofing and Foundation Repair rebuilt the retaining wall as well. Plus, any and all cracks present due to the foundation repair issues were injected so that they did not cause issues and were less unsightly than they previously were.
All in all, everything went well and the customer was satisfied. Before Keith’s crew left, they cleaned up the area, talked with the homeowner about their experience, covered any questions or concerns that they might have, and packed up their gear.
